Yeah. Something happened to deviantart that made it suck. Everyone is so obsessed with getting comments and favorites, that the comments they make are completely useless. I'm sick of looking at someone's art, seeing a bunch of "This is beautiful! Nice job!" when its complete shit. And no, I'm not being a jerk about it. There are some things on here that need CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. However, when someone tries to give it, theres sudden hostility. "Why are you picking on them?" or "Sorry we're not all as perfect as you" or my personal favorite "Lets see you do something in this style, then." Yes, art IS subjective, but it seems like people only post stuff here for the mental masturbation of it. If you can't take hearing that your art is crap, you shouldn't be on here. Another thing that really burns my ass... THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU TO HOST YOUR OWN PERSONAL PICTURES. I've seen countless pictures on here of people with friends, at parties or whatever, that are completely useless. Its not art, its you holding a beer and groping some chick's breast. La ti fricking da? No one cares, except the 4 people that saw the event take place. Seriously, its just getting ridiculous. This place needs a good cleaning out.
